Dirty Diet? Clean It Up! Free 7 Day Eat Clean Accountability Group!

A few years ago I heard of the ‘Eat Clean Diet’ — and I’ll be honest, the name behooved me (great word, right?!) — I imagine cleaning supplies and apples. I know, sounds a little ridiculous but I was SO NEW to the world of eating right… I had a basic understanding that laid a shaky foundation to what I thought was a GOOD diet.

I was eating brownies on the weekends, soda through out the week (mind you I thought I was doing the right thing by getting Diet Dr. Pepper, mmkkkayyyy. not good peeps, not good!), and spaghetti was cheap, easy and on the menu once a week. YIKES.

So after putting on 20lbs of unwanted, ugly weight, my self esteem was starting to crash. The food I was eating made me moody, and I was intimidated to wear shorts in the heat of Florida summers at a calming 95 degrees. Going to Target to try on bikinis? Forget about it! Mirrors felt unforgiving.

That was no way to live. So I decided to go on the internet and do some research to see what solutions I could come up with.

&& I don’t know about you reading this, but if you look at the Standard American Diet — AKA SAD — its literally just that SAD. It’s a far cry from what we REALLY need to not just survive, but THRIVE!!

So I decided to do a little research, only to discover that there were so many dietary options, fads, lifestyles, great information, crappy information, diet pills galore, and quick fixes.

To say it was overwhelming would be a huge understatement. I immediately felt intimidated, frustrated and wondered how I was going to get started with so many conflicting ideologies. I felt frustrated with the FDA after watching a few (ok a TON) of documentaries about America’s agriculture and how our food was being made.

This disgust led me to passionately pursue the TRUTH among lies! I wanted to know how I was going to FEEL good again! I was tired of being overweight, feeling like a moody little brat, and having sugar crashes every night due to my sugar high addiction.

So when I did my research on cleaning up our diets with whole foods, raw foods, and non processed options, I started to feel a light at the end of the tunnel.

There are SO many diseases and health ailments that are directly correlated to what we eat, ‘let food be thy medicine’ - Hippocrates

& I was worried that if I didnt take action soon, I would be one of those that faced a health issue that would last a lifetime.

And maybe YOU are already there, but there’s STILL hope. And that’s where this event page and invite comes in.. .whether you are trying to crawl your way out of years of food abuse, or you are just starting to get your feet (and forks) wet — my team of coaches and I want to invite you to our FREE 7 Day Clean Eating challenge in a private Facebook group.

We will have several meal plan options, and we realize that many people follow different lifestyles - whether thats vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, paleo, or you’re just looking for all around balance.

Your Hair so Fine... Hair Mask Review - THE BEST!

Hi gal pals! I hope you all have been doing well, and if not, just know that arrows get shot by being pulled backwards ;-) There's something going on behind the scenes that will be a cause for an applause. Just a little positivity for ya.

OK! So... after dying my hair for a little (Every once in a while I do this to tighten my budget and save money for certain upcoming events or goals) I realized why I should NEVER ever do this again and that going all natural is probably my best option for a while.

Plus I haven't seen my virgin hair since sophomore year of high school. I did a few highlights to maintain the blonde I was born with, but going ash brown was inevitable. I'm not like my best friend Courtney who is a total tow head. I have serious hair envy, Court. Oh & she's a much better writer, check out her blog here!

Ok, not that you care THAT much about the process I've went through in the last year, but its been a lot of different colors. I have workout and hair coloring ADD. It's a REAL thing. And I'm proud of it! Why not?!

But since I've dyed it a lot, I needed something to strengthen it again. I've done my own coconut masks and they're great too, but I really enjoy this brand, Arvazallia.

I was going to get the macadamia nut mask after seeing it at Ulta, but then saw that this other product had 4.5 stars! The reviews were very helpful!

So I decided to give it a try, and I have to say, I'm a FAN! It's a must have for any girl, whether you dye or you don't dye.

It says to do it only 1-2x a week, the weeks I do it 2x, I notice a real difference. But you don't want to overdue it.

I also use a clarifying shampoo 2x a month and a protein shampoo 3x a month.. Featured below. I love both of these products, they are quality and have made a big difference. I was recommended to use these by a friend who does hair and wanted to help me strengthen my locks back up! Thank you Marina!

So I hope you found this helpful, give it a shot and let me know what you think by commenting below! It's good stuff ladies!

XO,
Abby Marie

The Dating Chronicles.... The Power of the Pussy Chapter 1 Review

You know... I really debated writing this piece. But I feel called to do so I'm going to say 'screw it' and do it anyway. . I will remain integrity, wont air dirty laundry, but I will share my ascension to being the best me and taking care of myself post break up.

Yes, I said post break up. After a divorce and a break up, I felt defeated. I had hope, but I felt that I wasn't ever going to get this right if I didn't make some changes. For those of you who don't really know me, I'm ALL for self improvement.... from audio to books, to Tony Robbins seminars to learning Spanish. I want to make my LIFE COUNT! I want to count, I want to matter, I want to positively impact the people around me who will do the same and together we can truly change the world. Bold statement right? It's a BOLD belief. But if you don't believe in something, you'll fall for anything.

And I also believe relationships are one of the most important pieces of life. The ones you have with your family, your friends, your lovers, your SELF, and for those of you spiritual -- your spiritual SELF!

So after a few failed relationships, you cant help but experience a few emotions. For me personally, I briefly thought, 'well maybe its me' . And to an extent IT is! Sure, we ALL have made mistakes in relationships and LIFE!

I don't want to hop from failed relationship to failed relationship though. I'm 26 years old and having a REAL relationship with myself outside of other relationships, and not letting my past define me. If anything my past experiences have PREPARED me.

So let me share how...

My friend Michelle told me about this book that has quite the intriguing title, "The Power of the Pussy" by Kara King. And I know that sounds very ABRUPT... but ladies lets be real. We have the most powerful thing in the world... why should we fail to acknowledge that with pride?!

So after she said, 'ABBY, you HAVE to get this book!' considering she knows what I'm going through, I trusted her and bought it right away. I got it in two days, love that Amazon Prime and DUG in!

And I'm flying right through it, so I figured I would share my thoughts/reflection on each chapter (or most at least).

First, I thought 'wow she says/writes fuck and pussy a LOT!' and she DOES! But you know what? Who cares? She's getting her point across perfectly and what's she saying is totally true -- at least for me. I don't know about you, but dating or considering dating in a city as beautiful as San Diego with people just as beautiful and a lot of womanizers/weirdos/overbearing guys out there, you need a freakin' guide book.

The part that stood out to me the most was about controlling your emotions at the end of the relationship. "It is necessary, however, to become aware of your emotions and their ability to control your actions. Once we're aware of this fact, then we can have control our actions by controlling our emotions" - BOOM.

As women in physical relationships, we literally crave a mans touch. Post break up it's like losing a limb practically... not having that extension of human touch. But this is what stops me 'There are men out there that will do and say anything just to get what they need"-- and aint that the truth! I know there are guys who have said things to me just to see if it was like hanging a carrot in front of a horse and telling it to move forward.

And like I said, failed relationship after failed, which is normal, means that its time to be a bit more wise.

Look, I can't tell whats going on on the other side of this blog and on your screen. I'm not sure if you're in your forties or around my age... married or going through a break up too... or maybe you've been single for a while and you're wondering how to even find a GOOD man.

If you're looking for an up to date, modern, and REAL advice when it comes to confidence, loving yourself, dating, and landing a good man, this book is LITERALLY a HOW TO GUIDE!

And you're in luck darlin' ... I just started a private Facebook group dedicated to women who are also reading the book along with me. So far we have a pretty decent size group with women of all ages and experiences.

So if you're looking for answers, direction, laughter, and guidance... message me NOW! You are more than welcome to join with zero obligations. You just need to buy the book off Amazon!

If you want in and you have a Facebook account, just send me a friend request HERE and message me "Interested in the Book Club!" so I can add you!

Hope to see ya! CIAO bellas!
