Stop the YO YO Weight loss and Weight Gain and Get LASTING Results!



Have you ever YO YOed with your weight and results before??? Are you wondering how to find BALANCE between eating healthy but still living it up with your favorite foods? Since so many of you ask how I did it this year losing 21lbs TOTAL since July… READ ON my dear friends:



This past weekend I was SURROUNDED by lovely temptations… (especially Starbucks)… it was NOT EASY at first, and I definitely treated myself to one of those banana chocolate chip bread loaf thingies from Sbux (you know what I'm talking about??) but I held strong 90% of the time. I brought my own food (lentils, brown rice, tangerines, fig bars, almond bars, and salads) and even squeezed in a pretty good workout… and it's not because I'm obsessed with a number on a scale, but because I'm committed to my results… 



I made the mistake before of being lackadaisical after I had great results because I felt entitled to a "treat here and there" << but that became much more frequent than it should have! Lesson learned. If you want the YO YO cycle to STOP, you HAVE to STOP doing the things that tripped you up before, and START doing the things that will move you forward! It's not about taking things out of your diet to drive yourself insane (think balance and once a week cheat treats). BUT it is about eating for the results you WANT… if you want different results, you have to approach it differently then you did before.

I told my coaches this weekend that my transformation was about balance… I still indulged in my In-N-Out and even Phils BBQ for all you local San Diegans  (this is a once a month thing for me, I freakin love burgers) and had my treats here and there, but I remained focused about 90% of the time. I still get to eat and enjoy the foods that I like, and I also get to learn how to make my favorite things healthier. It's a win win> You get to still have your treats here and there (whether thats pizza, wine or burgers), you feel the benefits of being healthy and happy, you see results and you look great. Who wouldn't want that?! Stop the YO YO, find the balance and LIVE it up! Because I love food just as much as you do (maybe even more!)



Here's a few simple steps to RID yourself of the YO YO:

1. It all starts with your MIND. Yeah, you read that right. Your M-I-N-D! Your mind has the power to do anything you ask it to. You need to learn to FOCUS on whats important which is where you are HEADED and the PRESENT moment! Note that when you are focused on the present moment and how you can improve yourself today compared to who you were yesterday, you will always surprise yourself! So start being your biggest cheerleader and coach. Cheer yourself on when you think you can't go anymore, coach yourself when you need to be pushed. Instead of thinking to yourself, "I don't think I'll ever lose the weight, its too hard, I will always be stuck with love handles/big butt/wide hips/chunky thighs/etc" start saying, "I have work to do, and if I wait any longer it will get harder. So I'm going to take advantage of TODAY and make smart choices that honor my goals and my body!" <<< and you will DO IT!! 

2. Make a VERBAL and PUBLIC commitment: Scary right? GOOD you should be nervous,excited, and use that scared feeling and turn into adrenaline to get you going. You are going to need to mentally tough it out on the days you don't want to. My advice, SUCK IT UP. YOU'VE GOT A BODY THAT YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH, STOP TRASHING IT. Tell the people you love, the people who care about you (friends and family) your plans. If they meet you with opposition, say this, " I know you may not understand why I'm doing this, I don't need you to 'get it' I just need you to support me. I need accountability and I want to accomplish ______. I only ask that you are supportive in a positive way!" If they can't get beside or behind you, don't take it personally. This isn't THEIR journey, it's YOURS. It's for YOU. 

3. STOP TRYING TO IMPRESS OTHER PEOPLE. AHH this is my favorite. It's YOUR journey, don't do it to prove someone else wrong. You know what Im talking about. People from high school that may have wronged you, or your college roomies. It's not about them. This is your body, your journey, and these are your goals. If you're always doing something for someone else, you will be left in the negative. Focus on how working out and eating clean makes YOU feel. For once, let it be about YOU. 

4. Get ACCOUNTABLE: Whether you want someone like me ( a Beachbody coach) or a friend, having someone do it with you, well… that makes it WAY MORE FUN!!! And if you're miserable the whole time, what are the odds you are going to stick it out? Truth is, you're going to have HARD days ahead of you. I would be lying if I said it was a cake walk (pun intended). It's not easy, and if you want it to be easy, you don't' want it bad enough. The struggle makes you grateful for what you earn, and you will NOT want to cheat on your results with bad choices. Feel me? I could probably list a zillion steps to do it, but lets start with 4. Lets keep it simple and easier on you. I believe you have what it takes to change, all you have to do is allow yourself to do believe too!

Change in plans!!! Normally, travel doesn't mess me up too bad when it comes to working out... however I'm traveling a LOT this year, and I decided to start P90X3 a little later on... I have a 3 month block in my schedule where I won't constantly be gone, so from April-June I will be In it to WIN it with P90X3....

My First Ever Before Photos that No One Has Seen! Part 1

So a couple days ago I made a post on Facebook that if I had 1000 LIKES on my LIKE page > From Flab to Fab (go like it, I'm fun, spunky, share great tips on fitness and health ((personal experiences)), fashion, food, bargains and deals and mucho more)...

and the day has come.

HOLY SMOKES… so I posted on From Flab to Fab that I have my BEFORE BEFORE photos that stumbled upon and feel like I should share with my followers. I plan on leaking the photos (((soon)))… but I need your help… 

Before I started P90X (for the THIRD ATTEMPT) I ordered Shakeology a couple weeks before hand to get a jump start on nutrition (I was initially a discount coach just looking to lose weight, I didn't want to do the business side AT ALL!) and I lost a good 7lbs in NINE days just drinking that and SORT OF cleaning up my diet… (however, I yo-yoed before I started P90X eating some bad cheat meals so I lost about 4lbs total before I officially started p90x). 

Then I started P90X on Jan 3rd 2011… well I have THOSE before photos… and then I have the photos BEFORE that… my REAL before photos, that I VOWED I would NEVER show a soul. Not one person has seen them, NOT ONE. So you can see why this makes me nervous.. but I gotta #practicewhatIpreach

I took them myself with a timer because I was so embarrassed of how far I had let myself go and looking at them now… holy mama I am SHOCKED.. and most of all GRATEFUL for what this opportunity has done for me.

Being a Beachbody coach has literally transformed my life in every way.. and it brings tears to my eyes thinking how much this is going to change my coaches lives… 

So with that said, I want to show the believers, non believers, the doers, the couch potato, the stay at home mom or busy working moms, the busy 9-5 dad, the military wives, the busy college student, the hopeful 20 somethings,all of you… just what you can do too…

My First Ever Before Photos that No One Has Seen! Part 2

Maybe you're wondering why I dragged this out.. or why I wanted more LIKES for my page, From Flab to Fab...

let me explain...

Back in December of 2010 I had this feeling like I was meant for a totally different path then the one I was currently on... I was waitressing, in school for a degree I wasn't sure I would ever use, I was 20lbs overweight, 3,000 miles from home, 20k in debt, what I like to call situationally depressed and pissed the EFF OFF--- but I was hell bent on changing ALL of that! In no way am I trying to create a sob story or looking for pity, I'm just giving you the basics...

See, we ALL make choices, everyday.. that either get us closer to where we want to see ourselves or farther away... and up until then, I had made a string of decisions that slowly pulled me away from what I wanted. But there was one problem...

I didn't know what I REALLY wanted BUT I was damn clear on what I didn't want! I had no vision... but I had hope, and hope kept me going. However, knowing what I didn't want made me FOCUS on all the wrong things, which is how I gained the 20 something pounds, ended up switching schools SIX TIMES, working jobs that didn't fulfill me... you get the idea. What I'm hinting/not so hinting at is the LAW OF ATTRACTION... Most of the time in this grand scheme of life, we focus on the things we don't want to happen or come about... and we end up getting just THAT, the things we don't want. What you RESIST PERSISTS. So change the focus.. and you change your life.

So as I show you this picture, I want you to FOCUS on one thing as you relate my picture to your life... focus on the AFTER photo... focus on what you CAN DO... not how far you have to go, or how long it may take, or how much work it could be. Focus on the feeling of knowing you're doing something about it, focus on your commitment and promises to yourself, focus on how good it feels to have a vision, a goal body, good health (even if you don't quite have it yet), and give yourself VISION AND HOPE.

So if you could do me a favor, and drum your hands on a table (just kidding).... DRUMROLL PLEASE.....






That was the OLD me.. this is the NEW me> a more improved version. I believe in myself, I'm my biggest fan (and not my worst critic), I know I'm capable of doing anything I put my heart, soul and mind to.. and guess what? You are too, let yourself be FREE from judgement and regret. Two emotions that won't serve you!

So how did I do it? 

Yeahhh buddy! I get this question a LOT!!! Urryday practically. Which is AWESOME. Don't stop asking, because I won't stop sharing what works and what can change your life! 

  • I stopped eating shit. Plain and simple. You want results? You know what foods aren't good for you.  I don't have to preach that soda is full of sugar and eating out 4x a week is bad. You know it, I know it, so stop it. Learn about eating clean right here!
  • I drank Shakeology religiously... #1 hands down the constant thing in my journey. If you want a common denominator amongst my results in the last 3 years, this is it. It's a non negotiable part of my diet, day and life. It gives me a shiz ton of natural energy, makes my hair pretty damn nice, it tastes like heaven, and it gives my body what it needs to melt fat off and keep it off. But don't be fooled, it's not just a weight loss aid.. its a HEALTHY MEAL REPLACEMENT. As in you replace a meal... *duh* << which means you don't need to go HAM (hard as a mother F#$&@@) at the grocery store cuz it has all your nutritional needs in it! 
  • I worked out--HARD. I started with P90X, BBL, Insanity, and ChaLEAN Extreme<< I used those programs a lot in the first 2 1/2 years as a coach (a lil too much) and while they were great, I wish back then I would  have tried MORE programs from Beachbody and not been so cheap. Cheap mind set, cheap results peeps! So once Body Beast and T25 came out, I jumped on board, and the results ACCELERATED!!! Our programs are freaking awesome, it takes the guesswork out of weight loss, getting defined, and what to eat (comes with meal plans!). Tired of running circles? Whathca waiting for good looking? A program won't slap ya in the face and smack you on the ass! You gotta get it, press play everyday it tells you to, and stick to it! Don't wait for it, GO FOR IT!!! 
  • I had one CHEAT MEAL a week! And it was fantastic. It's usually Sushi deli, In n Out, thai food, or pizza. When I have my cheat meal or fun meal as some of you call it (treat meal? reward meal? nom nom meal??) I didn't feel bad at all. I practically ate like Beast from Beauty and the Beast. It was the balance that kept me sane. Come on. We all crave bad stuff here and there... *luckily Shakeology curbs cravings!!! (I said curb, not eliminate, but when you work as hard as I do, you don't want to sabotage results with bad eating all the time)
  • I had SUPPORT!!! I had an ENTIRE team of coaches cheering me on, I had a Facebook following liking my pictures and asking how I did it. I had people who counted on me, and I didn't want to let myself down or them. It gave me laser focus! Need accountability like that? I gotchu. If you don't have a coach (and you think we would make a good match or you want to know more - we can be swole mates ladies ;-)) or want one/need one click that link and lets get started! 
  • I kept going and I believed in myself! Even when I fell off for a week or more, I would get back on it. Sure I felt guilty and wanted to beat myself up, but what the heck did that do for me? Nothing besides some self loathing... don't waste your time. Just get back on it, and stop quitting. You won't gain momentum if you  keep giving up... Start and keep going. Life happens, events happen, birthdays, graduations, vacations, deaths, travel, work, kids, marriage, etc. <<< just because this happens doesn't mean that your goals in health and fitness take a stand still. One hour of working out is 4% of your day... and half the workouts I did were LESS than an hour. So suck it up. Make some time. We have top coaches with 4 kids, two jobs and married who have time to work a business and work out. Anything is possible if you believe it to be. 

Did you see rocket science in there? Calculus? Calorie counting even? did you see extreme cases of dieting and fasting? Diet pills? Slim fast? Nutrisystem? Weight Watchers? Expensive gym memberships? Personal trainer? 

Nope.

None of that.

It's easy to do, and it's easy not to do. If  you want change, it's in the small things you do each day... (your success lies in your daily habits) that either get you CLOSER to your GOALS or farther away...

So the reason I waited to show you this picture: DELAYED gratification... it's a sign of maturity and it shows you what you really want. If we fall for the 'instant gratification trap' there's no gratification at all in there. When you get what you want ALL the time, what are you grateful for? What does hard work mean to you? I had 3 years of delayed gratification in my fitness journey, and you bet your sweet ass I have embraced, cherished, and been grateful for each day that I went to work on myself. I love me more because I took the RIGHT way when it came to my health and fitness.. NO DIET PILL OR QUICK FIX CAN GIVE ME THAT. 

I URGE you to change, not out of pain... not out of regret of the past, but out of hope and pleasure for your FUTURE... it's as bright as you can imagine it to be... Now go shine!

21 Day Challenge P90X3 for Women

Have you ever joined a competition or challenge? Maybe it was with a group or maybe it was just you and against yourself.

I've started many new habits, challenges, ideas --- some worked WELL and some totally flopped.

I've given things my all, and I gave some things less than half effort.

and what I've found is this…

When you look at the entire staircase it can be overwhelming, intimidating, scary and a lot to take on!

But if you can F O C U S your energy on one step a time… anything is possible.

That's just it… one step at a time with laser focus. And I'm going to hold you accountable to those goals… It takes 21 days to build a habit, are you ready to build one and have it stick?




Sounds simple right? Exactly, which is exactly why I'm INVITING you into my 21 Day Bombshell Fit Challenge… here's the deets:

What is it exactly?

The 21 Day challenge is pretty self explanatory… it's a 21 days! Alright, there's a bit more to it. It's held in a PRIVATE Facebook group with about 10-12 women total participating in a fitness focused challenge. We'll share recipes, before photos, check in daily, motivate one another, goal setting, time management, I'll give you my personal meal plan (which helped me lose 15lbs and lean out), you will personally check in with me once a week with accountability pictures, a food log and your weeks goals, and MUCH more! Constant support!

Who can join?

Any of my REGISTERED CUSTOMERS << or any new customers who do NOT have a Beachbody coach already (however, if your coach isn't active and/or helping you with your goals, please message me and maybe we can get the ball rolling).

P90X3 Womens Test Group

Let's talk body image for a sec… how many of you think you have a WARPED view of how you see yourself? I know I did… I've been on both ends of the spectrum. When I was 20lbs heavier than I am now, I didn't realize that I had some LBs to lose, I honestly thought I was in shape. UNTIL I decided to go for a run, and quickly came to the conclusion that 1/4 of a mile is too soon to be THAT out of breath. Anyone feel me? I need Ryan Gosling waiting at the other end if I'm gana be knees to chest high tailing it. 



I've also been on the other end, in great shape but I just wasn't satisfied with what I saw. I had become slightly obsessed… I'm not talking crazy where I would analyze every calorie consumed or burned (that is no offense to you that count, I've seen people who count obsessively and that is what I'm referring to, don't get all worked up!! ) to the point where I couldn't enjoy myself. But I was scrutinizing some of the things that make me..ME! Like that fact that I may have a traffic jam booty, and shorter more muscular legs, and that I've got a long torso and what I call upper ab blocks.

Honestly, the things I use to not particularly like about myself, I 100% embrace now. Dat ass? Squats are my best friend. Short legs--BBL makes them look longer, and hey so does lunging. And sure, abs can be the hardest muscle to get sometimes, but I'm totally happy with them. No more standing in front of the mirror and picking myself apart until I'm miserable. No more jumping on the scale each morning and hoping it would go down. and NO MORE depressed shopping trips because a 00 doesn't fit. I'm cool with my size 3/5. I've got curves, and I'm proud! 




Too many of you beautiful women go around hating on the things that make you unique and gorgeous inside and out. Stop the HATE, embrace the L O V E. I had to put the WORK mentally and physically to find a happy balance among a healthier lifestyle and a healthier body image. And I want to help YOU do the same. It's time more women start seeing themselves as VICTOR not VICTIM. Your body is where you will spend your life, might as well learn to love it for all the amazing things it can do right? So lets get to it!

Holding your Getting Started Right Call with your Coaches

"Failure to plan is a PLAN to fail" <<< Don't let that be you!

Whether you're sponsoring and holding your FIRST GSR call EVER or you're a veteran coach looking to perfect your pitch, you are in the RIGHT place!

First, let me tell you that there are SO many ways to have a GSR call, but knowing what works is key. Every coach has a different style based on what they think is the best way, however there are some KEY points every GSR should include.

Second, you want your coaches to feel EXCITED!!!, a little nervous, and informed. You do NOT want to overwhelm them by being on the phone for over an hour and giving them every last detail of the business.

Remember to bread crumb information, you don't want to vomit on your coach and scare them off right?

The purpose behind a Getting Started Right call is being able to show them the first steps, not the whole stair case. Sometimes when people look at a HUGE goal or LONG to do list, they lose site of what they really want and get caught up in the 'HOW' of it.

Before the GSR:
  • Make sure you have sent your new coach a WELCOME EMAIL. If you're a brand new coach yourself, drafting up a welcome email is simple -- you can either follow the guide I have provided or create your own! 
  • Hold your GSR within 72 hours of sign up! Don't lose the momentum because you got to the train station late, success moves forward and so should you! 
  • Emphasize the importance of them completing the CTA (Coach Training Academy) BEFORE (if possible) your GSR so that they have a basic understanding of the business and can ask you more informed questions. 
What to Include in Your GSR
  • Start the conversation off light! Ask them how their day was, touch on common interests. If you treat it like  an interview, you're missing one of the most important pieces: building a relationship with your coach. 
  • Go over the welcome email and the main action points:
    • their personalized website links/setting up their profile
    • EFT (direct deposit and how to set that up)
    • Where to find their Coach ID 
    • Explaining Coach Active Status
    • CTA
    • Monday Night Team Bombshell Calls (get them plugged into team training ASAP!!)
    • Monday Morning National Wake Up Calls
    • How to access the Coach Training Command Center
  • Go into their WHY-- ask them what their expectations are for the business, what they want to change in their life with Beachbody, really dig deep into how this can change their life! Be sure to LISTEN to what they are saying, this is their goals and dreams. Remember that visualization is a step to believing it can be their reality. 
  • Explain that we get 25% off products (except the Team Beachbody Mall) and make a 25% direct commission off customer orders. This may seem obvious to us, but a lot of new coaches forget.
  • A time for them to ask questions -- let them know that when they get off the phone that if they have more questions to either email you, google, or ask in the coach group.
  • Explain "You run, I run-- you walk, I walk" That you will match their efforts, how far and how hard they want to go is up to them. You're their mentor, not their boss! 
  • Schedule your next follow up call in about 10 days.. having a few calls every 10 days will start to help them build consistency and accountability!

SC5 benefit: 
When you earn SC5 you are eligible for $50 in commissions via Shakeology leads! That means 1-2 home direct customers on Shakeology will be assigned to your coaching account, and any purchases they make otherwise you will get commission for as well as their Shakeology HD order! 
SC10 benefit: When you earn SC10 you are eligible for $100 in commissions via Shakeology leads! That means up to 2 home direct customers on Shakeology will be assigned to your coaching account, and any purchases they make otherwise you will get commission for as well as their Shakeology HD order!

Imagine this, if you get a Shakeology lead from earning SC5 or 10, not only do you get the monthly commission of $30, but if they decide to stay on Shakeology and order anything else, you can really rack up a great income. When you earn success club, you qualify for Shakeology leads as LONG AS:
  1. you are emerald rank or higher (that’s you plus two coaches you signed on under you)
  2. You are on a 90PV Home Direct order (AKA Shakeology)

What is Success Club?

PART 1: Success Club is the backbone of coaching success— THIS IS HOW YOU WILL RUN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS SO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION AND REVIEW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TILL YOU FEEL YOU UNDERSTAND. 

Success to the club! Ah the perks of the business, success club is truly the backbone and  blood to this business. It’s where the perks come in, how you start to grow your team, and will be a non negotiable if you are serious about earning a residual income. 

When I first heard about success club and the success club trip to Atlantis, I just thought this to myself, “ I have to get success club, even though I have NO IDEA what it is.. so I Can go on THAT trip (for free)!” 

I remember sitting there at Super Saturday (it’s our quarterly corporate event held in cities country wide, be sure to check your area for upcoming SS) on January 3rd, 2011 and hearing about this fabulous trip to Atlantis, completely PAID for if I got success club 5 for 9 months in a row. At first, I totally dismissed the idea because I figured it was too hard and I would never make it. At the time I wasn’t even that business interested, I just wanted to be apart of something and start my transformation.

But things shifted, I realized the opportunity within Success Club, not just for the trips, but for the leads, the fact that I grew my team, and started building a REAL income. Let me put it this way, hitting SC and Emerald took my paycheck from a measly $60 a week here and there, to a steady $250 a week within just a few months. Are you ready to see that kind of income? And that’s just scratching the surface ;-)

So let’s get down to it! What IS success club? If you get confused, don’t worry. I was too, so if you’re scratching your head the first time around—you aren’t alone. However, I want to make this as easy for you to understand as possible. 

First, Success Club is a “club” and program through Beachbody meant to help you grow monthly through earning what we call points. Theres success club 5 and success club 10. The 5 and 10 stand for points— if you earn between 5-9 points you qualify as SC5, or if you get anything OVER 10, you qualify for SC10. 



How to Earn Success Club Points:
*you can only receive up to two points PER customer EVER, SC points are awarded the month it is purchased unless specified otherwise by the company

> 1 point for every Shakeology HD sold to a NEW customer or coach 
> 2 points for every Challenge Pack sold to a NEW customer or coach


*You can only make a one time commission off your new coaches when they order a challenge pack, any future orders made by your personally sponsored coaches you do not receive a commission from unless they have the club membership. You make a 50% commission off any customer or coach every time their club membership renews. 
*If you sign a new coach with Shakeology OR a CP they only have 31 days from sign up for you to receive your SC points 
*If you have a return the success club points will not be counted

*Shakeology leads assigned to you by Beachbody (from an earlier month if you qualified) will not be counted as SC points. 
*If you have a customer who bought Shakeology HD, and then decided to sign up with a challenge pack, you would have 1 point already earned for their HD order, and you would only receive 1 point for their challenge pack purchase since you can only earn a maximum of two points per person EVER.




Success Club also runs monthly, from the first of the month to the last day at 9pmPST/12EST (keep in mind, our company runs off EST zone although corporate is in PST *headquarters are in Santa Monica, CA*— so if you need to get in those last minute points or orders, be sure to keep an eye on that clock, also our company runs from Thursday mornings to Wednesday nights, so most updates happen that Thursday morning in your coach online office, but SC points are usually updated daily unless specified otherwise).
