Lazy Girl Lunch

Yep, thats me. I'm a lazy girl who loves to workout, travel, explore, learn and grow. So how does lazy fit in there? Well when it comes to food-I'm LAZY... no joke. I would have someone feed me if I could. I love to eat, but damn I hate to stand and prepare food while I'm hungry! My friend Lori was here and we made these, I use to make wraps ALL the time like this in Florida and kinda forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder girl!

So here's the lazy girl wrap!

You Need:

  • flax or ezekiel tortilla
  • guac or avocado
  • tapatio
  • fried egg
  • spinach
  • diced tomatoes
  • small piece of chicken (optional--normally I don't eat meat, but I had it, so I add it!)
Prepare:
  1. spread guac or avocado on the tortilla
  2. fry the egg--I like the yolk runny so it's like a dressing
  3. put spinach on top of guac and add tomatoes, shredded chicken and sprinkle on tapatio
  4. place egg on top
  5. WRAP and EAT.

Yummy. Super easy, super good, and quick.

You're welcome
XO,
Abby

Is Beachbody Coaching a Scam? Are MLMs a Scam?

AHHH YES... the infamous question of whether or not MLMs or Beachbody or these "pyramid things" are a scam....

Honestly, when I signed up as a coach, I could care less because I only wanted the discount... I kind of got invested into the business blindly and just went with it because I loved Shakeology so much. It never really crossed my mind to see if what the company was doing was considered a scam.

Luckily for ME, and 100,000 OTHER coaches--Beachbody and MLMs are anything BUT a SCAM and more of a wave of the FUTURE when it comes residual income, working from home, financial independence, and branding your business and name.

Let me explain... If you were in a restaurant, who's at the VERY top of that chain? The owner right? CEO. Big daddy--he's the tip top BOSS man... and as you start to go down this chain, you have managers, cooks, servers, bus boys, etc. Who gets the RICHEST from this? THE CEO of course.

Now imagine flipping that pyramid upside down... you have an MLM (Beachbody) oh and BTW if MLMs were a pyramid scheme, by law--its illegal. =)

WATCH THIS:

SO as I was saying... YES you have a coach like me who has built a good size downline (as well as many others) BUT coaches can easily surpass me if they work hard, sign other coaches who are also business minded and working for it, and who work just as hard or harder.

Do I make money off my team? YES I make a certain percentage off whatever sales happen underneath me, but that gives me an INVESTED interest in my team--my success DEPENDS on THEIR SUCCESS. so even if I signed a zillion people and NOT one of them sold a thing, I wouldn't make very much, if at all... So I want to help them be successful and reach their goals! I actually get MORE EXCITED to watch my team grow and rank advance then when I do!!!

Can they make money off their team and even make more than me? YES, if I signed a coach and they build their downline (what we call the team) and have some GREAT coaches, they could certainly go farther or faster than I esp if they are productive!

WE ALL START AT ZERO-ZERO CUSTOMERS, COACHES, SALES AND MONEY. It's a leveled playing field, you just have to decide if you want to batter up!

So who's going to fatten your wallet? Yourself as a business owner OR will you keep making the CEO rich!?

Since being a Beachbody Coach this is how my life changed:

  • Instead of working restaurant job after job, I now stay home and work in either yoga pants, or workout clothes
  • I workout everyday and am the healthiest I've ever been
  • I get to write off workout clothes, technology, work trips, fitness gear, etc.
  • I make residual income and get paid every Thursday
  • I am happier than I ever have been because I can have freedom of choice in my life
  • I work when I want, where I want, and for how long
  • Im 24 year old business owner living in my own house with NO ROOM MATES
  • I've paid off all my debts--about 20k!!!!
  • I travel for work all the time and go to amazing life changing seminars
  • I have positive friends and people surrounding me, helping me be the BEST me possible
  • I don't feel lost anymore on my life...I finally feel that I have found my purpose helping people get in shape and healthy!
  • I get to share what has worked for me and meet people who want help!

So Will I FAIL as an MLM coach? Is it even POSSIBLE? Watch this:

Join the Bombshell Challenge

WEE that time of year again, Summit is right around the corner!

I'm so pumped for VEGAS but I'm super excited to get a new workout routine going since Saturday is my last day of Beast.. time flew by thats for sure! but I don't want to do it alone, I really want a few more ladies to join us (the group is almost full) but ONLY if you are completely serious about getting back into a healthy life style. It's not just fitness talk, but what habits and rituals do you need to change or introduce into your day to stay on track and keep the momentum going.

I think the HARDEST part about starting a workout routine is 1. finding the time (what works best for you?) and 2. nutrition and 3. support.

Well in this challenge, we MAKE the time, you will learn about nutrition (duh Shakeology helps!) and you have support from me personally and the rest of the group!

Taking the LAST few sign ups for the Bombshell 60 day challenge---you can choose the program--just a little FYI, I bought Combat last month, and it's on SALE this month (grrr). So if you are into a good workout, martial arts style, thats for you! If you want to be apart of it go here >>http://abbymaried.blogspot.com/p/join-bombshell-challenge.html and I will get in contact with you!

Why I don't weigh myself...

Like most women... I hate the scale. I feel like it puts a label on where we "should" or shouldn't be based on our height and genetics. Have you ever stepped on the scale and cringed? Yep. You have. Have you ever stepped on and went, "YES! I LOST 5lbs!!!" Yep,  you have. So have I. and I've also seen that 5lbs gained back in one week (talk about bloat, water weight, bad eating, stress, PMS, etc). Crap, even in a day once.

As women sometimes we rely so heavily on a number to define our fitness journey. We use the scale as a measurement of how far we have come or far we still have to go. And if you are on a journey to lose 100lbs... well it can be daunting right? What about if you only have 15 to lose? Yep, still rough.. because those last 15 or 10 or even 5 pounds can be the MOST stubborn pounds to lose (look up set weight--its kind of like this. Your body is use to a set "weight" and once it reaches it, its even harder to lose the remaining desired weight).

I've stepped on the scale and cried then beat myself up for hours, then wrote out meal plans to lose the weight, I over analyzed EVERY curve in the mirror and decided I needed to workout at least two hours a day.

I've also not given a shit and eaten whatever I wanted and then hated myself then too. So where's the fine line between it all? Is there a balance?

You have to find your balance... Does weighing yourself everyday hurt and hinder your focus? For me it did... I would obsess over the scale. I stopped weighing myself for months and went off how I FELT and how I looked in clothing and bikinis. I will only weigh myself when I need to record results for a workout program (new training, like a 90 day program such as body beast or p90x) or if I'm doing a cleanse. Otherwise, me and the scale aren't best buds.

Ask yourself these questions:

1. What do I feel when I step on the scale? Good or bad feelings?
2. What happens AFTER I step on the scale? Do I beat myself up? or can I handle it in a healthy way?
3. When is the best time for me to measure my weight? (usually mornings after you pee, and not on cheat days!)
4. How often should I weigh myself?
5. How can I learn to be okay with a weight that suits me best?

For me, most of you couldn't guess my weight... you would prob guess lower than what it is.. because I do have muscle, I look lean and toned in most areas (still working on it) so I look like I weigh less. I honestly don't care too much about the number. As long as I FEEL and look good according to my standards that are healthy and achievable, Im totally fine with it!

I'm not trying to be skinny, I'm trying to FIT, curvy, healthy and toned! Whatever your goal is, don't let things get in the way of your mission! Know what works for you, and what doesn't. Don't be afraid to let yourself LOVE yourself at every stage!

Abby
